This female corpse was believed to be at highly social rank from the Ming Dynasty (the ruling power in China between 1368 and 1644). The mummy was discovered two meters below the road surface and well preserved from her head to her shoes. Some archaeologists working at Museum of Taizhou excavated the area and felt very surprised about remarkably good condition of the woman's skin, hair, eyelashes and face.
