By: John Stevens | 2010-06-09 | Photography The great white shark is well known for its size of 6 meters in length and 2,240 kilograms in weight. Scientists report that False Bay near Cape Town, South Africa is the most ideal place to observe the seal hunting of great white sharks. Thanks to the abundant food, these sharks only catch baby seals for better taste. Moreover, due to the less experienced baby seals, catching baby seals becomes easier. Seals which want to swim underwater must pass these shark-filled waters. Therefore, the water around the gulf is called "the ring of death". It can be seen that white shark is one of the few shark species swimming near water surface to observe their preys. Let’s discover the most stunning images of great white sharks when they are hunting seals. read more
