On the occasion, he also raises for some much-needed cheer after months of devastating flooding this Southeast Asian country. The country has hosted a grand state ceremony to public audiences and pardoned some 26,000 prisoners. Thousands people gather to watch the King, who left a nearby hospital for the occasion, from the balcony of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
