The event has created a spectacular view at night by exhibiting over 15,000 Korean traditional and international lanterns from 29 different regions of 24 countries around the world. Besides, it is one of various activities to celebrate special occasions such as G20 Seoul Summit and 2010 Visit Korea Year. During the festival, different activities and performances have been showcased along the 5.8 km long stream which runs through downtown Seoul. Especially, people can release their lanterns along the beautiful Cheonggyecheon praying for their dreams to come true at the lantern-floating event from every 5 to 7pm. read more
