According to Jiji Press news agency on March 11, 2011, the data collected by the police shows total dead and missing people are about 1000 people and now at least 384 people were found losing their lives, 947 injured in this natural disaster. Besides, it is reported that 100 people and their ships swept away by tsunami while a train with an unknown number of passengers aboard also disappeared.
