Britain’s Prince William and his fiancée Kate Middleton were cheered by hundreds of people in spite of braving blustery winds and grey skies when the couple visited a life boat station at Trearddur Bay in Anglesy, North Wales on Feb. 24, 2011. It is the first time they made official public appearance together since their engagement though both William and Kate actually attended at a cancer fundraising concert in Norfolk in December. This occasion is one service of dedication for a new lifeboat from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Music from the Menai Bridge Brass Band and the Holyhead Male Voice Choir was added when the young pair smiled and waved to villagers. Miss Middleton, who was invited as a special guest of honor, wore a three-quarter-length beige coat and a black scarf with her hair tied back and crowned with a feather fascinator. read more
