By: John Prytz | 2011-08-04 | Philosophy UFO skeptics claim that there's little or no credible evidence that any UFO event can be interpreted as an alien spaceship, boldly going on Planet Earth where no extraterrestrial has gone before. However, the fact that there exists such a thing as the UFO extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH), six decades (and then some) on must suggest that there is some really real evidence in support of that UFO ETH belief, belief supported by opinion polls over many, many years. read more

By: Robert Benjamin | 2010-09-28 | Science Science & Technology, Spiritual, Christianity An entire book can be devoted to the phenomenon of alien abductions that have been recorded across many countries at different times. A study conducted by Dr. John Mack and published in the Harvard University Gazette concluded that the abduction from 800 cases were made by mentally stable persons across vast segments of the population with no signs of delusion or any chronic tendency to lie and fabricate stories, much less any sign of mental illness. His conclusion is not unique as studies conducted by other respected psychologists and psychiatrists revealed no aberrant mental health c... read more
By: Angelica Downe | 2010-04-02 | Reference & Education How do aliens communicate? At least we know they don't talk like we do. When they do communicate with humans they use a telepathic communication where apparently something in the human brain is activated and we can send and receive messages to and from them. read more
By: John Prytz | 2011-07-04 | Philosophy It's only in the last couple of generations that humans have had the ability to answer the question "are we alone?" Prior to the building of radio telescopes and the launching of space probes, that question rested more with philosophy and speculative science (often sci-fi) than hardcore science. So it would be coincidence beyond belief that E.T. would pop in for a visit within just those last couple of human generations that enabled us to finally search for him (or it) out there. read more
By: John Prytz | 2011-06-07 | Culture Assuming one or more extraterrestrial civilizations with advanced, interstellar spaceflight capability exists; then they know about Planet Earth. Say ‘hi' to those pesky UFOs, a concept either dismissed or ignored by the general scientific community. Part of that scientific snub is in no short order due to what's commonly called ‘The Condon Report', a scientific study into UFOs undertaken by the University of Colorado on behalf of the U.S. Air Force (USAF). read more
By: John Prytz | 2011-07-15 | Philosophy If E.T. is and/or was here, then there would be alien fossils or artifacts left behind, even if it's just E.T.'s garbage. Unfortunately, there's no such undisputed fossil or artifact evidence. Not one bit of E.T.'s litter to be had and put under the microscope. Now is this a legitimate argument that rules out any visitations and somewhat lengthy stays by extraterrestrials to our humble abode, Planet Earth? If there is no UFO rubbish, is the UFO extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH) rubbish? read more
By: John Prytz | 2011-08-18 | Philosophy The UFO Extraterrestrial Hypothesis (ETH) can't be therefore it isn't; alright it might be but it still isn't; don't bother me with facts, my mind is made up; and in any event it's all pseudoscience and I just deal with real science. Trust me on this – I'm a scientist! And we all know scientists are 100% rational and right 100% of the time! read more
By: John Prytz | 2011-06-02 | Culture UFOs have been with us as a modern phenomenon for over six decades now. Is that too long an interval to associate the UFO movement (if there is such a thing) as just a passing fad? I suggest that any reasonable person would conclude that UFOs could hardly be called a passing fad after all this time and is therefore unlikely to be a cultural, psychological or sociological phenomenon. read more
By: Sid Credeur Jr | 2010-03-30 | Reference & Education It is very hard to imagine that earth is the only living planet in this whole galaxy and the ones beyond that. Aliens have been a part of every culture, even the Egyptian pyramids have pictures of so-called "extra terrestrials' with big heads and sticks in their hands that look like modern day guns. "UFO" or the" Unidentified Flying Object" is an enigma in itself, throughout the world there are frequent reports on UFO sightings. read more

By: John Prytz | 2011-03-27 | Philosophy A phrase has appeared in many popular science books as well as sceptical books about various aspects of the paranormal and pseudoscience's, but which has, in classic meme fashion, spread to other subjects as well. That phrase is "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". However, I feel that phrase has well outlived its original purpose, is total nonsense, and has passed it's ‘use by' date by several decades at least. read more

By: John Prytz | 2011-06-26 | Culture Between 5 and 10 percent of all reported UFO incidents remain unidentified after investigation by those qualified to do so. This fact apparently excites the scientific community not one jot. I maintain that a 5 to 10% level of hardcore UFO unknowns is a major scientific anomaly. It amounts to at least several thousand unexplained UFO incidents. I was under the impression that it was the role and duty of scientists to research the unknown, but apparently not when it comes to this subject. read more
