The collection of 271 paintings, drawings, sketches and lithographs dates from 1900 to 1932, when the young and poor Picasso came to France from Barcelona and was recognized as one of the world's greatest artists. The collection includes nine cubist collages, a painting from his celebrated blue period, drawings and models for the most important portraits of his first wife, the Russian ballerina Olga Khokhlova.
