Art is a form of self care which can bring you happiness, relaxation, and boost your productivity. Here are ways to tap into your potential and unleash the artistic and creative aspect of yourself.

Take notes from experts

Seek assistance and guidance from experienced and professional artists who can give you tips and share some of the techniques and knowledge they have. This allows you to invest in your own growth, hone your skills, and improve the way you do your art in your Otto Place home.

Be playful

Perform activities that lure out the inner child in you by doing stuff like doodling, sketching, drawing or painting to find joy and happiness in what you do. Allow yourself to explore different styles without being judged. Keep in mind not to set any expectations that are too high.

Join communities

Join groups that have like-minded people who have a similar passion and interest in things you want. They can offer support and encourage you to push for more. You can do this in many ways, like being present in workshops, interacting in online forums and signing up for art clubs and groups in your local area.

Explore different forms of art

Try to find other forms of art and diversify by exploring other types like photography, dancing, music, pottery, painting and more. Maybe you will find something you’re really good at, or you could discover something new that captures your interest.

Practice and set time

You won’t get good instantly after you’ve held a brush or performed an art project for the first time. It takes time and effort to get better at something, so allot a time slot in your day dedicated to practicing and refining your skills, which allows you to be more creative and supports your well-being while being productive.
