Ready to move to a new condo but don’t have a clue how to do it efficiently and with minimal stress? We’ve got you covered. Here are four questions to ask while preparing to live at your new The Arcady at Boon Keng home.

When is the Best Time to Move?

By default, the best time to move to a new house is when you’ve done all the things at the old house and the new house is prepped and ready. Other than that, the time of day and month are good follow-up aspects you should think about. It might be better to move when school ends or when you’re less busy, or during the day when there’s plenty of light. You’ll also have to consider traffic and travel time.

Should You Rent a Moving Truck or DIY?

As far as moving services are concerned you can choose between a mover and a DIY courtesy of a caravan you attach to your vehicle. Keep in mind that a moving truck has more space and workers can help you move things more efficiently. However, a caravan is great for small families and when there aren’t a lot of things or furniture.

What Things/Furniture Should You Bring?

It’s a given that items in a large home can’t possibly fit in a smaller space. If the time comes you will need to dispose or donate some of the furniture. Consider donating to charity or putting them up for sale online and on social media so you can make extra money on the side.

Should You Eat Before or After the Move?

The best answer is to consider having a light snack or meal before you move, and once you’ve settled into your new condo, eat if you’re hungry.
