Packing for a house move is stressful and time-consuming. However, the process can be made easier and more efficient if you have a plan and set timeline as days get closer to moving day to your new home at Lentor Central Residences. Here are 5 tips to keep things organized while you pack your belongings.

Gather the Moving Supplies

Put your moving supplies such as packing tape, scissors, bubble wrap, and boxes in one place and have them within reach to save time and energy.

Label Everything

Label the things that are inside the box, and the box itself so you can organize your stuff that matches the label and know exactly what the contents are and you won’t have to stress on where to find the things that are stored in it.

Keep Important Items Separate

It is encouraged that you keep your documents, keys, wallet, and other essentials in a separate area or luggage to not lose them in the mix of other items that are not as important, reducing your stress about damaging, losing, or anything that could happen to the item.

Pay Attention to Sealing and Tape

Double check if there’s a fault in the sealing or the way items or boxes are taped and deal with it immediately to prevent the box where the items are stored from breaking and damaging the items that may fall off, leading to a more stressful event.

Do a Room by Room Packing Process

To save time and have an organized way of packing your stuff, it is encouraged to do it one room at a time. Move to the next room only after you’ve packed everything in the box that you labeled and cleared everything out, so you can also unpack efficiently once you arrive at your condo.
