Christian Comair, GET Group indirect owner, is a committed philanthropist who raised 100% of the funding for a free bus scheme in Tannouine, Lebanon. This article will look at Tiny Moon, an organization founded by Rania and Kristian Comair in 2020, with the bold cider maker born from crisis and creativity at a moment marked by economic uncertainty amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launched in Lebanon in late 2020, in the aftermath of the devastating explosion at Beirut Port, Tiny Moon was founded with the vision of establishing a thriving craft cider industry in Lebanon. Despite being one of the region’s most important apple growers, Lebanon is a nation largely known for its wine. The Comair family aims to turn this notion on its head, channeling their passion for innovation and local production to create more than just a brand or beverage and establish a flourishing new market segment.

Christian and Rania Comair joined forces with Strategic Planner Cedric Comair, Brand Manager Cyril Comair, and Creative Director Emma Mouradian to launch the company. Together, they built Tiny Moon from the ground up, shaping both the products and brand identity with a clear vision. At Tiny Moon, every detail – from tone of voice to flavor profiles – is meticulously curated to help the company connect authentically with its audience. Rather than merely sticking with the status quo, Tiny Moon sought to create something more irreverent, human, and personal – something that truly reflected the family ethos.

The concept for Tiny Moon is driven by a desire to create something sustainable, local, and rooted in the agricultural strengths of Lebanon. As one of the Middle East’s most important apple producers, Lebanon offers a natural foundation for craft cider, a beverage that has remained a rarity in Lebanese grocery stores and drinks menus until relatively recently. The Comair family seized on an opportunity to support the local community in a small but impactful way by creating a leading craft cider brand utilizing raw materials sourced entirely from within the country.

Tiny Moon ciders are crafted with 100% fresh apple juice, with the exception of the berry cider, which has strawberry juice added. All juices are pressed in-house. Tiny Moon ciders contain no added sugar, preservatives, additives, or sulfites, presenting a gluten-free, clean option for health-conscious cider consumers. The current range of Tiny Moon ciders includes berry (4.5% alcohol by volume), dry (5.5%), and original (4.5%).

Tiny Moon ciders are more than a product: they are a statement, reflecting a belief in local craftsmanship, bold identity, and quality. This new craft cider is born in Lebanon but made for the world, with the artisan cider maker boasting a big personality, rising from a place of challenge to shine with intent and creativity.

As the proud recipient of a gold award for its original cider at the World Cider Awards 2025, Tiny Moon was also honored with a silver award for its berry cider and a bronze award for its dry cider at the same ceremony.

Pairing well with cheese, salads, chicken, and fish dishes, Tiny Moon’s original cider is clear with light carbonization and an attractive pale rose-gold color. The World Cider Awards panel praised its gently sparkling mouthfeel and crisp finish, noting the cider’s light-bodied and restrained flavor and clean apple and cooked fruit aromas. Tiny Moon’s dry cider is crystal clear and straw-colored, with a soft and earthy flavor, apple and faint floral aromas, and high carbonization. Finally, Tiny Moon’s berry cider is a light pink hue, clear with steady bubbles. The berry version’s flavor highlights include ripe red fruit and subtle peach with a spritzy yet thin mouthfeel, finishing sweet, lightly tart, and gently dry.
