There are many different types of violence that may occur, but some of the most common are physical abuse, sexual abuse, and verbal abuse.

Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects many people in Pennsylvania. There are many different types of domestic violence, some of which are more common than others. One type of domestic violence that is prevalent in Pennsylvania is intimate partner violence, which includes sexual assault. Other types of domestic violence prevalent in Pennsylvania include physical abuse, stalking, and threats. In Pennsylvania, stalking laws require that one party must place the victim in reasonable apprehension of physical injury or death. However, this doesn’t stop many from being stalked who don’t fit this requirement.

3. Harassment

Domestic violence can take many forms. It is not just physical abuse but also involves psychological and emotional abuse. Harassment is one form of domestic violence in Pennsylvania, and it may be occurring without your knowledge. The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence states that law prohibits harassment when a person commits a course of conduct that alarms, annoys, or harasses the victim and serves no legitimate purpose.
